Camping in Rainstorm, Polish Lavvu hot tent, hiking in the rain, bushcraft overnight

A solo overnight camping in the rain with a vintage canvas tent, Polish Lavvu, combined with a plash palatka (thank you, Swedwoods). I setup the lavvu complete with a POMOLY T Perspective stove. I make a steak dinner at the campfire. The next day is started raining early for most of the day. We go on a hike to collect water and see the fall weather.

Thanks for watching!

  1. Another great overnighter Jess! I really appreciate the time and effort you put into the videos so I can enjoy them and learn . I watch several bushcraft channels and yours is one of the best! Take care my friend.

  2. Awesome night out Jess. I've been looking at the Pomoly stoves. Currently leaning to the T1 Mini for a smaller tipi hot tent. How do you like the the perspective so far? Also what hunk of meat do you bring out to the woods?
    Nate

  3. When we were grade school kids (7 of us) we would take my dad's poncho and put it over our winter coats during blizzards and go to neighbors houses and shovel them out the poncho made it so our coats did not get soaked or wet and kept the wind from us feeling it we could be outside most of the day wearing it

  4. That's exactly what I need to do is get on out. Out here in New Mexico, gonna go out and do some squirrel hunting and some deer and elk scouting next week.
    Thanks for sharing brother. 👍🇺🇲🤙🇺🇲✌🇺🇲
