Awesome review Sir Andy!! Ive been waiting for this Video, looks like a solid Kit 👊🏼😎🤙🏼
A quick note that sounds stupid but saves those expensive bits, wine corks. Place some cork the same size as each bit screwed on the end. Keeps the screw end from blunting and the sharpest starting edge from damage. Saves that canvas holder and your hands to when your grabbing without looking.
It surprising how much an auger set like this comes in handy for in the woods or around the home.Really like these reviews.👍
They're bog-standard auger bits, available from any tool store by the looks of it. The important part in this context is the handle, which I've not seen before. Be nice to see that for sale on its own.
Hey Andy, seen you using it, looks nice. I was wondering why you keep the handle in the last pocket so you have to unroll the hole kit. I would have thehandle in the first pocket.
Ps. A squere awl would be a great addition to start the auger off.
Andy, the tool roll is blue so it will not be lost when laid down on the ground.
Thank u
Hi Andy, great video. Swag that works is nice to have and great little content. Thanks as always. Be well.
How much!!!! I would need to sell a kidney.
Great all around set! At home or in camp! Especially in a permanent camp. Have a great day 👍🏼🇺🇸🏕️🔥
I have wondered WHY Bushcrafters have been slow to improve their joinery kits. We have seen simple joints made with a folding saw and by batoning or by using an axe to remove material. We have seen some fairly poor lashings done with flimsy cordage. Being able to peg a joint is the next step up! Any of us who have used drill bits appreciate that a smaller pilot hole can very much aid in the speedy completing of a larger hole while offering less stress on our bits. 🙄 OF COURSE, many bushcraft hobbyists are demonstrating quick, one-night shelters that need only the most economical of efforts to put in place.😀 I WILL check out this Taylor-made kit and I look forward to seeing how it works for you in coming builds.
Nice set that. As in the UK think I will look for one in the UK as import charges are a pain
Yet another arrow in your quiver, Andy.

Nice set but a little pricey when you include shipping. Atb Malcolm 🏴
My comment is hardly "Bushcrafty". But I like how the Tangs are Hexagonal so they'd be great at home too in a Drill Press or a Cordless Drill as well, you aren't just limited to the Handle provided. I like that set alot!

An Auger set is the one thing that I dont have that I think really should be a must, it'll open up the possibilites of woodland projects to a greater scale. Nice bit of kit, I cant see the links as of yet, will try again later, cheers.
Great review 👍
cheers Andy 🙂 no link for me ?
