We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. After living near the city our entire lives we finally decided to sell it all, pack up our 3 kids and live in an RV on our 73 acres while building our own debt free, off-grid house and learning to live a more self-reliant life.
Our house build is documented entirely on our main channel «Wild Wonderful Off-Grid» and our family life vlogs can be found on our secondary channel «Wild Wonderful After Show»

  1. Love the way you letting all the kids step up and grow. In the beginning I thought I may ask you to challenge the kids more, but during the video I see you are doing just that.
Los kids learn fast and when finished they all know they have been a part in building the house and that must feel rewarding. Also love how supportive Josh are both in how he prepares you with all these tips and tricks, but also how he express his gratitude over the result. All this bringing the family even tighter.
Regarding peanut butter, the rib is the only bone on a human that can totally regenerate/regrow if needed.

  2. What a truly fantastic family, Erin is just out of this world, but why do we all assume that this is just mans work ? In Thailand the women do all the building work, bricklaying, plastering, rendering and they probably do a better job !! Just seems to me that women are better at most things in life.
This is coming from a male retired builder in the UK. Just love you all and have nothing but admiration for you all, get well soon Josh, you have been an amazing teacher.

  3. You are such a great team … !!! I follow you from the beginning and I am always thrilled how great you stick together and develop … Please keep it up … There is nothing better than being able to rely on your family … Josh, get well soon … best regards from Germany

  4. i knew you could do it i had faith in you and house looks fantastic i can close my eyes and just picture myself living there its like a dream home hope josh gets better soon well done to both of youse house is amazing

  5. Wow what can I say that hasn't already been said, you and your whole family are a true inspiration, thank you for sharing and here's hoping for a speedy recovery for Josh, just stay safe and as warm as you can, the tree looks fantastic.

  6. It's tough for guys who have broken ribs, I managed using a corset. It gave me a lot of relief. And yes I know doctors say not to bind your ribs but I was in a opera show and teaching salsa and bahasa. It helped me cope.
